You will need:
- 1 1/2 cups (12 fl oz/375 ml) milk
- 1/3 cup (3 oz/90 g) plain (natural) yogurt
- 1 small banana, peeled and chopped
- Flesh from 1/2 small avocado
- 5 brazil nuts
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
Method:
This recipe is quick and easy. Just throw all the ingredients into a blender and process until silky and smooth. The smoothie may be a little frothy, which is to be expected. This serves 1 person, and makes around 1 ½ cups.
Avocado Smoothie Shots
Cucumber, lemon and cilantro are a wonderful offset to the creaminess of avocado. It also makes a fantastically fresh tasting drink.

Method:
Throw all the ingredients together in a blender and blend until the mixture is smooth.
You may be required to stop the blender and mix, making sure to scrape the mixture down from the sides of the container with a spatula.
