cuisinart food processorYou don’t have to be a culinary master to make great foods using a food processor. In fact, you would be very surprised to know that many food processor recipes are extremely easy even though they don’t seem like they should be.

Take Apple Cake for instance. Apple cake is extremely easy to make with a food processor, and that’s just one of three recipes you’re about to learn about that are extremely easy to make, even if you can’t cook.

Apple Cake Recipe

All you have to do is fill the processor with a cup of sugar, a cup of flour, four tablespoons of butter, one teaspoon of baking powder and one large egg. Process this until the mixture begins to resemble cornmeal. Then spread the mix in the bottom of a greased nine inch pan.

Quarter and seed three apples, cut into thin slices and arrange them on top of the mixture in layers. Then, bake that for 45 minutes. Finally, add sugar, butter, an egg and cinnamon to the food processor until it dissolves. Spoon over the apples and bake for another 25-30 minutes and you’ll have one of those food processor recipes that everyone will enjoy.

Here’s how to make hot soup in a Vita mix blender without even touching a stove!

Ice Cream

Ice cream is one of those food processor recipes that is fun to make and that tastes great. For this one, just fill the food processor with one cup of whipping cream and one third a cup of sugar and blend until it is well thickened. Then, add some frozen strawberries one at a time through the processor’s feed tube with the motor going.

Blend until the entire mixture is smooth, even if you have to scrape down the sides of the processor jar. That’s all there is to it. Then, just freeze it and you never have to go to the store for ice cream again. You can just make it anytime you want to in your kitchen with your very own food processor.

Peanut Butter Cookies

Peanut butter cookies are so easy to make in your food processor. Simply add 1 cup of sugar, 1 egg, 1 cup of peanut butter and a teaspoon of vanilla essence. Blend ingredients for a few seconds until they’re mixed well.

Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cover an oven tray with a cookie sheet. Use a tablespoon to scoop out a bit of the dough and drop onto the cookie sheet. Continue until all the dough is gone. Flatten each cookie with a fork to create a cross-hatch design on the top. Bake your cookies for around 8-10 minutes, or until they turn slightly golden.

In just a few minutes, you’ll have tasty, gluten-free cookies that everyone will love.

That’s how easy it is to cook with a food processor, and that’s just three great recipes that anyone can use. That means that, even if you set the kitchen on fire every time you cook, you are sure to be able to cook your favorite food processor recipes.

The food processor has always made cooking very easy, but don’t get into the trap of thinking that they’re only for smoothies or gravies. They can literally be used for any food, you just have to use your imagination. Then, once you learn a few recipes, and you find that you can actually use them, you’ll be hooked and you’ll always be searching for more.
